LESSON 1: LISTEN AND READ
A. Objectives:
I-Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to talk about the process of producing chocolate by using passive forms.
II. Skills: - Listening, speaking , reading and writing.
B. Procedure:
I. Settlement: Greeting, checking attendance, and disposing for pair/ group work.
II .Checking: -Checking Ss’ preparations for the new lesson.

Match the stages in the development of paper with the correct pictures.
A. Pre - reading:
T elicits words from Ss.
a. Pre - teach vocabulary:

- manufacture / m(n((`f((( / (v): sản xuất, chế biến.
- process / `prouses / (n): qui trình, quá trình.
-to touch / t(( / sờ, chạm tay vào.
-to crush / kru( / nghiền nát.
- liquify / `likw(fai / (v): làm cho thành nước, thành chất lỏng.
- conveyor - belt / k(n`vei(r belt /

+ Set the scene: Tim Jones, Hoa`s American pen pal, is visiting a chocolate factory with his class and his teacher, Mrs. Allen. Mr Roberts, the factory foreman, is showing them around.
B. While - reading:
a. Practice the dialogue with a partner.
b. Match the half - sentences. Then write the full sentences in your exercise book.
C. Post - reading:
-Asking Ss to read new words again and listen to the dialogue again.
-Asking Ss to find the structures of passive form.
